The Emirates Council Ambassadors Association has received the official announcement from the Ministry of Community Development.
HE Sheikh Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Amiri Diwan in Ajman, said in his speech during the ceremony organized by the association yesterday that the association aims to promote voluntary social work through providing social and cultural programs and services for all segments of society, In cooperation and partnership with various stakeholders, and conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
He expressed his pride in launching the Ambassadors of the Emirates Council, which is the most recent public benefit association in the UAE. It will contribute to more than 220 associations and public benefit organizations in the country in activating voluntary work and its contribution to national social construction.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Salem Al-Wahashi, Chairman of the Founding Committee of the Association, said that raising social life, providing support in the voluntary work of various social groups in various fields and promoting the spirit of tolerance is a main objective of the society. National identity, loyalty, loyalty and national belonging, the consolidation of authentic cultural values, and the development of community cohesion.
He added that the association aims to develop and disseminate the concepts of positive and voluntary work, in accordance with the spirit of the federation in the state, its civilized development and the guidance of the wise leadership, taking into account the applicable laws and regulations and customs and traditions.
He expressed his pride in the approach established by the country’s wise leadership to promote and spread positive and tolerance as a way of life among all segments of society and to provide them with all support for voluntary work and public benefit institutions.
On the sidelines of the launch ceremony, the Association signed a strategic partnership memorandum with the Arab Union for Educational Training aimed at activating joint cooperation between the two sides to develop the skills and experiences of volunteers and improve their volunteer skills in line with Arab and international practices.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Mona Kamel Turki, CEO of the Federation and Dr. Abdullah Salem Al-Wahashi, Chairman of the Founding Committee of the Association.
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, at the end of the ceremony, honored the volunteers.
The ceremony was held at the Sarai Hotel in Ajman – Ahmed Al-Khadim, Deputy Director of Public Benefit Associations in the Ministry of Community Development and Media Abdulrahman Naki Al Bastaki, Secretary General of the Journalists Association, and a number of volunteer leaders and founding members of the Association.
