Saudi delegation briefed on the strategy and programs of the Rabadan Academy

A delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Interior (MOI), during its visit to the Rabdan Academy, has received the first academic and professional programs in the country and the region in the fields of security, safety, defense, emergency preparedness and crisis management. And highlights the challenges, leadership and analytical aspects in the areas mentioned within the context of the UAE and the regional and international level.

The Saudi delegation was headed by Dr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Omair, Director General of the General Administration for Administrative Development, while he was received by James Morse, President of the Rabdan Academy, and Dr. Faisal Obaid Al-Ayyan, Vice President of the Academy.

A presentation was made about the academy and its strategic plan. The delegation also toured the academy building for its services and facilities, including the martyr hall.

The two-day visit comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation relations, exchanging knowledge, information and experiences, and identifying best practices and experiences that suit the needs of both countries.

Dr. Faisal Al-Ayyan said that the visit reflects the deep relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, stressing the importance of cooperation and integration between institutions inside and outside the country to consolidate joint action.

He stressed the Academy’s keenness in its academic and professional programs to strengthen and support the readiness of institutions by providing them with qualified national competencies in the fields of safety, security, defense, emergency preparedness and crisis management.

On the other hand, the Saudi delegation met with HE Saif Abdullah Al Shafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police and a member of the Board of Trustees of Rabdan Academy.

The Academy distributed the Special Olympics Special Olympics Abu Dhabi 2019 to the visiting delegation in support of the event.
